It has been an exciting July, and I'm very glad to have been able to kick off The Basement rather well. We've had more than a hundred new faces come in and enjoy themselves, and we've had a lot of repeat customers as well.
We figured that most can't really sit through two movies straight, so we've decided to just have a one movie schedule per night. I'm in charge of Thursdays and Joey has Wednesdays.
Of course, we can still do the democracy bit after the screening in case anyone wants to watch anything else. I leave that up to those who are there. Besides, I think I've sat in to watch PI too many times that I have a feeling I'll be drilling my head in a while.
Anyway, we're finally charging P30 for beer and P20 for softdrinks. Of course, you're still welcome to bring your own F and B without corkage charge. We still don't charge entrance, and we're still looking for what interests you and what you want to see. We do requests, and although we're open only on Wednesdays and Thursdays, we don't mind if you would like to make use of The Basement on other days. It's just a matter of scheduling. So, let us know.
In any case, we now have two couches. Thanks to Nino for the second one. :)
